“I think some people deal well with discipline and accountability and some people don’t. When I talk through with people about where their strengths and weaknesses are, we go through all the different aspects of running a business.

Some people are good with finance, some people are good with social media. Some are not good at those things. Some people are good at accountability. So we talk about those things and essentially if you know that you’re going to struggle in that area, you need to actually put a structure in place.

This is the same with every aspect of your business. If there’s something that you’re naturally talented at and naturally will perform well at, then you can get away with flying on that talent.

You need to establish your own disciplines and structures and put your own key performance indicators in place.

You need to have that accountability to yourself to say, am I meeting my KPIs or am I not?“
