Digital Marketing, With a Difference
Hi, I’m Dorz. I reduce the confusion and complexity of SEO for businesses and internal marketing teams so they can increase online visibility, get more leads and have a sustainable business.
But how did I get here?
In 2012, after having my second child, I built and launched my first website while on maternity leave. Little did I know that pressing launch didn’t equal website visits or conversions! I tried to figure it out all by myself because let’s face it. I didn’t have a big marketing budget to outsource it. I began Googling – ‘how to get more website traffic” which is when I stumbled on a thing called SEO – Search Engine Optimisation.
I remember feeling overwhelmed and unable to comprehend and apply the information I was finding.
You see, I’m not ‘techy’.
After completing my degree in Psychology and Sociology, I worked in the corporate world for 15 years. So this was all foreign mumbo jumbo to me! But I refused to give up.
I landed an entry-level Digital Marketing position later that year with an agency based in Sydney, and finally, it all started to make sense. I was trained from the ground up in SEO and found my true passion.
When the agency closed down in 2017, I had five years of industry-specific experience and at that point chose to launch my own business.
Why?
Because I could see that business owners were missing out on critical support.
