Esther is the Director of the HR Dept Eastern Suburbs Sydney who provide outsourced human resources support to small and medium-sized businesses.
She has over 20 years’ HR generalist experience, holding senior HR roles in both Australia and the UK. She holds a B.Sc. Management Studies degree and a Diploma in HR Management and is also a trained facilitator & mediator.
We talk about the important three F words, flexibility, freedom and family and Esther’s passion for helping SME’s thrive through offering pragmatic and personal advice. She supports local businesses with the everyday people problems that they face.

“Well, it was a couple of years in the making while I was in my last corporate job, which I really loved and enjoyed. But after a few years, I’ve found with corporate roles, I’ve come in, I’ve done some quick wins, made some changes, and then it tends to be kind of maintenance and business as usual.
I was looking for a new challenge. And in the last year of my corporate job, I did an advanced leadership program and literally upskilled myself in contemporary leadership practices.
That really ignited me to take on a new challenge and use what I know and my expertise to see if I could run my own business.
In preparation for this podcast, I think my reasons are threefold and it all begins with F. Flexibility, Freedom and Family.”
