In this first episode I share a little about me: I'm based in Wollongong, I run my own business, and I'm a mum of two cheeky boys I absolutely adore. In 2012, after having my second child, I left the corporate world after 15 years and moved into digital marketing.

How it started
I quit my corporate job and pressed launch on my first website. Then nothing happened. Nobody could find it, and that's how I discovered SEO.
A couple of months after launching that first website, I landed an entry-level role with a fully remote digital marketing agency. That meant working in my pyjamas most days, unless we were on a video call with the team or clients. It was the start of everything that followed.

The website nobody could find
That first website is why I do what I do. A beautiful site that nobody can find doesn't grow a business, and a lot of established businesses are still sitting where I was then.
