Welcome everyone to the first episode of Let’s Get Visible. My name is Doreen (Dorz) Brown and I’m a small business SEO specialist. That’s a bit of a mouthful! A little bit about me…

I’m based in Wollongong. I run my own small business and I’m also a mum of two Cheeky Boys that I absolutely love and adore. Back in 2012 after having my second child I decided to leave the corporate world after 15 years and move into the digital marketing space.

Quit my corporate job.

Pressed launch.

Discovered SEO.

Built my first website.

Nothing happened.

My life changed.

After a couple of months after launching my first web site I landed an entry level position with a digital marketing agency that was fully distributed which meant that we were able to work in our pajamas each and every day (for most parts of the day) unless we were on a video conference call with our team or with our clients.
